Position: Banquet Assistant Chef Part-time

The top priority of the Banquet Assistant Chef is to assist in food preparation to ensure that the dining experience of event guests at the Northern is consistent with four star hospitality and well beyond the guests’ expectations.

The Banquet Assistant Chef is responsible for assisting in all culinary operations in the Catering and Banquet Department . Duties include helping with ordering, menu planning, execution of prep list, expediting and inventory in accordance with events on the calendar.

The Banquet Assistant Chef is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the Banquet kitchen, as well as upholding a positive work environment between the front of the house and back of the house.
