Position: Reservations Agent

The reservations agent is responsible for the following:

Successfully sells hotel rooms, hotel packages, and the hotel amenities

Focuses on maximizing revenues and increasing our ADR

Assists with setting monthly goals for the front desk team and encouraging the agents to meet the goal

Assists with monthly agent incentives to verify commissions

Assists with the hotel revenue strategy

Always sells the hotel’s amenities (Bernie’s and TEN) and offers to book reservations with the hotel reservation

Is our Signature Ambassador and partners with Signature on new training programs

Covers any shift at the front desk

Has an up-beat can-do personality

Goes above and beyond for both our guests and our fellow employees

Has good cash handling skills and has infrequent audit errors

Has maintained a clean attendance record and is reliable

Has maintained a clean job performance record

Works well with others

Willing to help out any department in the hotel as needed

Willing to assist fellow co-workers at the front desk with questions

Is a leader in front desk incentives and helps encourage the rest of the department to perform

Problem solves to assist our guests and thinks outside of the box

 

Job Skills and Qualifications

Previous hotel experience preferred

Previous lead experience preferred

Ability to multitask

Possess good communication skills
